Compliance Sheriff Announces Preferred Technology and Service Solutions

The Compliance Sheriff team has been actively working since February’s End of Life announcement to identify alternative software and service providers that closely align with the solutions used by our customers. Today, we are thrilled to announce that we have completed our thorough evaluation and would like to share our recommendations.

Preferred Software Recommendation:

Understanding that Compliance Sheriff is used to maintain compliance standards throughout organizations, we focused on identifying a solution that would make the transition easy and cause the least disruption. Due to its product capabilities, supporting services, and brand reputation, Appgate recommends TPGi’s ARC Platform (https://www.tpgi.com/arc-platform/) as the preferred technology solution. TPGi is an accessibility solutions provider that supports all phases of accessibility through best-in-class management software and professional services.

TPGi’s (previously known as The Paciello Group) ARC Platform is a modern API-first accessibility platform that allows organizations to build and maintain digital accessibility through automation, analytics, rich content, and unrivaled support.

Compliance Sheriff is working with TPGi to deliver a smooth migration process (for users that opt-in) to import key account configurations into the ARC Platform, issue new login credentials, and provide a personalized walkthrough to ensure ease of onboarding and continuity of automated accessibility analytics.

In the coming weeks, the Compliance Sheriff and TPGi teams will present a joint webinar to demonstrate ARC Platform’s capabilities along with providing additional migration information.

Preferred Service Providers:

The Compliance Sheriff team has always recognized that a complete accessibility practice needs to include manual assessments, along with technology. Service providers can assist with manual assessments using assistive technologies, along with the creation of accessibility documentation and processes used by organizations. Over the years we have worked closely with the following organizations and would recommend either for any additional testing needs:

Compliance Sheriff and Microassist (https://www.microassist.com), have enjoyed a four-year relationship providing outstanding accessibility auditing services to both the public and private sectors. This combined effort is evident in the many successful projects that leveraged Compliance Sheriff’s accessibility auditing product line and Microassist’s expertise in manual accessibility audits using the same assistive technologies as people with disabilities.

One of the cornerstones of this cooperation is Microassist’s strong understanding of public sector purchasing requirements such as the Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR) based on the Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT).

The Compliance Sheriff team also recommends BarrierBreak (https://www.barrierbreak.com), the leader in offshore Digital Accessibility testing and consulting. BarrierBreak’s web accessibility testing service ensures that your website is usable by people with disabilities. Furthermore, we also assist you in aligning the accessibility services to your organizational needs and strategy. Founded in the year 2004 with a strong belief that technology can empower people with disabilities and the elderly to live independently.

We encourage our customers who need accessibility-related support, training, or additional help in planning for a transition to an alternate solution to reach out to Microassist or BarrierBreak, who can work with to ensure your compliance efforts stay on track beyond automated testing.

We are committed to working with other organizations to identify potential service providers, and alternative solutions that will support our customers for years to come. Please be sure to reach out with any additional questions you may have.
